Education is the foundation of lasting change — the bridge to opportunity, dignity, and empowerment.
At ZAM USI, we remove the barriers that keep children from learning and open pathways for growth. We focus on providing access to quality education for vulnerable children and youth — ensuring every learner can reach their full potential regardless of circumstance.
In 2025, education represented 80% of all ZAM USI program funding, directly supporting dozens of students across underserved communities. Through scholarships, school materials, and academic assistance, we kept children in school and strengthened their chance for a better future.
We also expanded access to technical, vocational, and digital skills training — equipping youth and young motherswith the tools for employment, self-reliance, and leadership in their communities.

Mentorship & Family Empowerment When families are strong, communities thrive.
At ZAM USI, we believe lasting change begins at home. Our Mentorship & Family Empowerment programs equip parents and guardians with the skills, confidence, and support networks to become positive role models and leaders in their communities.
Through parenting workshops, coaching circles, and leadership training, we help families build resilience and nurture values that uplift both children and society. Parents become advocates for education, health, and equity — ensuring their children grow up supported, confident, and ready to succeed.
In 2025, we mentored 18 parents through structured group sessions and one-on-one guidance. Each parent became a change-maker — influencing households, strengthening community ties, and fostering a culture of compassion and accountability..

Health, Nutrition & Gender Equity - Healthy Students. Stronger Communities
ZAM USI supports student well-being through nutritious meals, basic health care, and gender-equity programs. Our community clinic provides health checks and hygiene education, helping children stay in class and families stay healthy.
In 2025, we served 1,025 meals, reached 120+ students and parents through clinic services, and delivered health and hygiene lessons in three partner schools. We also empowered 25 girls through leadership and reproductive-health workshops — giving them the confidence to stay in school and succeed.
